I fish in North Antrim and live in the catchment of the River Bush. I fish for trout, salmon and saltwater species.
I particularly enjoy fishing surface emergers and dry flies for trout but occasionally I will swim a little nymph or a wet fly according to the water conditions.
I have been a trout fisherman since day one and I especially enjoy fishing small tributaries of the main river. I fish the main river for salmon with hairwing and Irish shrimp style flies, although I am still a beginner to salmon fishing I have managed to catch a few over the last four years. I fish the causeway coast with little bait fish patterns for Bass, Pollock and Mackerel. Over the last few seasons I have been learning about stream side insects, I find that this helps me refine my trout flies which I look forward to showing you in Killyleagh at the Irish International Fly Fair.
Come Say Hello! :)
